The School of the Arts has brought on a new development team led by Mr. Moss Cooper. In the coming weeks, we hope to coordinate with his office on the implementation of an alumni network that supports former SoA students in their post-Columbia years. We are still very early in the process so we can’t really say much more right now. We hope that’s not the case for much longer.
In the meantime, check out the CU Arts Initiative for funding information. Other web sites good for employing artists are the Foundation Center and the New York Foundation for the Arts. Media Bistro is also an amazing resource if you’re looking for employment.
Alumni are also encouraged to participate in the Faculty Selects reading series, which features work from WD alumni on the first Thursday of every month at the KGB Bar. Contact Elyssa East for more information.
